AVALAUNCH MEDIA
CONTENT MARKETING AGENCY
For six years, I was a copywriter for Avalaunch Media, a content marketing agency that is home to some of the finest internet marketing minds in the world. Having written literally hundreds of list posts, info graphics, eBooks, press releases, blogs, blurbs and manifestos, my time with Avalaunch fire-forged me into the writer I am today — a nimble chameleon of voice.

MANIFESTO
The founders of Avalaunch Media personally asked me to write a creative manifesto piece that they could present at a company retreat. Expanding upon the notion that hard work eventually pays off, I crafted this commissioned poem.
There’s a rich man among us,
Often subtle and unseen,
For the dirt in his nails
And the holes in his jeans
Show no sign of wealth
Nor luck cast his way-
Still, he farms each opportunity,
With willing work each day,
As his gut says, “Tomorrow,
Be it dimes or dollars made,
This habit of action
Will pay and pay and pay.”

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Here is what the Avalaunch founders had to say about my abilities …
To Whom it May Concern:
While collaborating with Tyler on a handful of db clay marketing campaigns, we were wildly impressed with his young creative talent. So, when db clay met its untimely end (along with too many other American businesses in 2008), we were quick to claim him for our creative team.
We kept Tyler very busy for the next five years. Though we started him with standard list posts, we soon realized his lyrical and technical versatility warranted a greater variety. It wasn’t long before he was our primary writer, pumping out multiple posts per day, researching and designing infographics, illustrating images, drafting press releases, authoring eBooks and everything else we could throw at him.
Tyler wrote hundreds of pieces for tens of our top clients, with some of his work amassing more than 2 million views/shares. He always produced with the highest quality and the greatest attention to detail. His ability to change voices was highly advanced. He was funny when needed and sophisticated when called for. He was original, reliable and always clever … exactly what we need with the fast-paced client content that we produce!
We’ve worked with hundreds of creatives and we can honestly say, Tyler is one of the best in the business. Any creative team would be lucky to have him on board.
Sincerely,
Matt Siltala
